Siem Reap is the most common starting point for trips to the floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake, especially for tourists visiting Angkor Wat.
- Tuk-tuk or Taxi 🛺🚕 : Hire a tuk-tuk or taxi from Siem Reap. This is a convenient option and can be arranged through your hotel or a local travel agency. Tuk-tuks are more economical, while taxis offer more comfort and speed.
- Tour Packages : Book a guided tour, which usually includes round-trip transportation, a boat ride on the lake, and sometimes a meal. This option is hassle-free and informative.
- Motorbike or Bicycle 🛵🚲 : For the adventurous, renting a motorbike or bicycle offers a unique way to explore the countryside en route to the lake.
