The Golden Circle is the most popular day trip from Reykjavík, in Iceland. This loop of about 250 km links three famous sights: Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir area and Gullfoss waterfall. Moreover, many other stops lie along the way. So, it is the perfect introduction to Icelandic nature.

Þingvellir National Park

Geysir and Strokkur

The route is open all year. In summer, long days let you visit early or late, when crowds are smaller. In winter, meanwhile, snowy landscapes are beautiful, but roads can be icy.
