How to Get There

    • By Car: Driving from Lima takes around 4-5 hours. The distance is approximately 300 kilometers (186 miles). The route follows the Pan-American Highway south to Ica, then a short drive west to Huacachina.
  2. From Arequipa:
    • By Bus: Buses from Arequipa to Ica take about 12-14 hours. Once in Ica, a taxi can take you to Huacachina.
    • By Car: The drive from Arequipa is about 700 kilometers (435 miles) and takes approximately 12-13 hours.
  3. From Cusco:
    • By Bus: Buses from Cusco to Ica take about 18-20 hours. After arriving in Ica, a short taxi ride will take you to Huacachina.
    • By Plane and Bus: You can also fly from Cusco to Lima and then take a bus or car from Lima to Huacachina.
